When you are attending a baseball game you always need to be alert for flying baseballs. This is true for both fans and as we have come to learn this season, the people announcing the games.
On Sunday, Peacock's Ahmed Fareed found that out the hard way when a Michael Conforto foul ball hit him in the head right in the middle of an interview with Pittsburgh Pirates general manager Ben Cherington.
Have a look (and listen) to the chaos that unfolded when Conforto's foul ball went flying backward.

The ball hit Fareed on the top of the head off of a bounce, and it took him a few minutes to regain his composure in the interview. Which is understandable given that he just got struck by a foul ball. He seemed to be okay and in good spirits following that.
This is not the first time this season that a foul ball has struck an announcer during a live broadcast.
Earlier this season, New York Yankees announcer John Sterling had a similar issue when a Justin Turner foul ball struck him during a game against the Boston Red Sox.
Starting this season Peacock has been streaming one game every Sunday, and this week it was the Pirates and Giants. The Giants ended up winning Sunday's game by an 8-4 margin to complete a three-game weekend sweep of the Pirates. It was a painful weekend for them on the field and a painful Sunday for Fareed thanks to the foul ball.
