ESPN Reveals Stock Up, Down after Colts Beat Titans
Denny Simmons The Tennessean USA TODAY

The Indianapolis Colts ran their winning streak to four games on Sunday with their 31-28 overtime win over the Tennessee Titans.

The Colts join NFL royalty as the hottest teams in the league. Only the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers can match the Colts' current winning streak. The Colts moved to 7-5 on the season and tighten their grip on a playoff spot with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, and Denver Broncos all losing on Sunday.

ESPN took a look at Indianapolis's win over Tennessee and had to pick a stock up and stock down player. Picking just one for stock up may have been a challenge, but wide receiver Alec Pierce was a logical choice.

Stock up after the win: WR Alec Pierce. He caught three balls for 100 yards and a touchdown. Pierce scored on a 36-yarder, beating two defenders down the middle of the field on a deep shot. -- Stephen Holder, ESPN

Pierce in his second year with the Colts, has taken a backseat to rookie Josh Downs this season. However, his emergence as another weapon behind Michael Pittman and Downs could prove crucial to Indianapolis during their December playoff run.

Another logical "stock up" selection is head coach Shane Steichen. His offense is up to the No. 8 scoring offense in the NFL at 25.0-points per game in the thick of a playoff chase.

Picking a "stock down" player for the hottest team in the NFL is a little tougher, but Holder went with cornerback Jaylon Jones.

Stock down after the win: CB Jaylon Jones. The rookie had a rough day in coverage, struggling throughout and getting beat by DeAndre Hopkins on a 3-yard touchdown pass that tied the game. Jones, according to NFL Next Gen Stats, gave up four catches on four targets. -- Holder

There's no shame in getting beaten by one of the top receivers in the league, but Jones would probably like to add a pass defensed to his stat line on four targets.

The Colts take their four-game-winning streak on the road to Cincinnati next week. The Bengals are having a disappointing season after having lost quarterback Joe Burrow to injury.

They've lost three in a row and take on the Jacksonville Jaguars on Monday night. It will be a short turnaround for the reeling Bengals, and the Colts hope they can run their streak to five games next Sunday in Cincinnati.
