Dallas Stars center Tyler Seguin exited Thursday’s game against the Buffalo Sabres with an apparent lower-body injury.
The incident occurred early in the first period when Seguin and Sabres forward Jordan Greenway were tangled up, with Greenway’s skate cutting Seguin right over the top of his left shin pad.
Seguin was clearly in pain and had visibly bled on the ice as he hobbled off to the locker room. Prior to the unfortunate run-in, Seguin had logged 3:21 of ice time, posting one shot and one hit in that short space.
